Greetings from beautiful Edmonton where I arrived this afternoon. They tell me that I lucked out with regard to the weather and I can't argue. Though it is supposed to cold tonight, it was quite nice this afternoon. And yes, I'm here to visit BioWare, specifically to check out Mass Effect 2. I haven't seen the embargo sheet yet but it shouldn't be too long before I can give you the full scoop.
I spent most of my weekend gaming time playing more Dragon Age and knowing I was coming up here I was sort of comparing and contrasting to Mass Effect as I went along. One thing that stood out to me was the difference in how each handles the signature BioWare branching conversations. Dragon Age goes back to their old method of having the literal phrases your character says as opposed to Mass Effect where you were more selecting a posture.
