If you're lucky enough to have your name in Buzz: Quiz World's preset database, it's quite satisfying to have the game show host verbally acknowledge your latest streak of correct trivia answers by name. If, like me, your name isn't...well, you just have to live with the fact that you were unworthy. (Kidding!) Tthe game includes a list of nicknames as well, so you'll hopefully be able to find something to suit your personality, even if you can't find an exact or similar match -- I used "Ally" during my hands-on session with the game. But selecting a moniker and over-the-top character model for your profile aside, Quiz World is all about showcasing your useless-trivia knowledge and rubbing it in the face of your clearly less-intelligent friends.

The game's sleek and shiny UI, the stage's flashing lights, and your character's cheesy emotes are just fun little distractions to dress up the main attraction: answering correctly. Each game consists of several rounds, with each round taking on a different category and game type. Categories range from pop culture references to knowledge of musicals or scientific facts. And you can even set in your own questions and answers, for that extra-special personal touch. (You know, questions like "Who was it that ruined Christmas in '96 because he drank too much eggnog and barfed on the dog?" Or not.)
